Doubletree By Hilton San Diego-Mission Valley was a great pick for our stay in this city. We loved the location, as it was close to the college we were touring each day and within walking distance to restaurants and the mall. Being able to take the trolley to and from the college was a real bonus and saved us from the hassle of driving. The hotel's facilities were top-notch and we especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and the nice view from our room. The staff provided excellent service and the hotel was sparkling clean. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The bar and pool were fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff, especially Charles and another gentleman in the breakfast area, were exceptional. The hotel was conveniently located near a transit rail, which made exploring downtown and Old Town easy. The lobby was clean, the gym was nice, and the bed was comfortable. The security staff was efficient and friendly when we left some items behind in the room.

We loved the hotel's cleanliness, from the fresh, clean rooms to the pool towels they provided. The staff was amazing and very friendly, always ready to go above and beyond to make our stay a great one. The location was perfect, with easy access to transportation that took us to downtown San Diego, Seaport Village, and Gaslamp District. Plus, the hotel was close to shopping areas, the zoo, and Sea World.
Almost perfect. Elevators were crowded and slow, with only two in operation.
The hotel was clean, with a well-maintained lobby and nice restaurant. The bed was comfortable, and I really enjoyed the complimentary cookies. The security team was efficient and friendly, helping me locate my lost items promptly. Parking was easy, and I appreciated the free bottles of water. The location was great, away from the hustle and bustle but still convenient for shopping at Fashion Valley Mall and accessing the trolley stop.
